Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She is one of the most popular and successful female artists in Africa, and has been credited with pioneering a new wave of music in the country. Her music is a blend of Afrobeats, R&B, Pop and Hip Hop. Her career began in 2006 when she signed a record deal with Mavin Records and released her debut album, Once Upon a Time, in 2009. Since then, she has released three more albums, R.E.D, REDemption, and Celia.
